Some may know Sundays as a day of rest, but for some reason, Sunday has become my crazy day for work. Everything happens on Sunday! This Sunday, June 12th, you can catch me at the debut of the new House of Blues Gospel Brunch show, at the Zowie Bowie Vintage Vegas show, with the Steven Lee Group on what is sadly our last night at Red Rock, or on the radio at 8 PM PST on 720 AM KDWN in Vegas or streaming live HERE
The Dennis Bono show also re-airs on Monday the 13th at 3 PM PST HERE
Later in the week (on Wednesday the 15th) I am at the Bellagio with the wonderfully talented (and VERY funny!) Mark Verabian of Mark and the Martinis, and also at the Gold Coast for jazz in the afternoon from Tuesday the 14th through Thursday the 17th. Catch me at one of these shows – I would love to see you.

I will appearing this Sunday and every Sunday as a guest vocalist with the Steven Lee Group, along with vocalist Tony Davich – stop by! GREAT musicians!! The band appears in the Rocks Lounge at Red Rock Station every Sunday from 8-10:30. (I am only part of the second set, which starts at 9 PM.)

PBS SPECIAL NOW AIRING – PERFORMING WITH SONNY TURNER’S PLATTERS IN “ROCK, POP, AND DOO-WOP” TRIBUTE
I had the honor of performing with one of the all time greats last year as part of a PBS Special taping for the “Rock Pop and Doo Wop” tribute that aired recently. Click here for more info and video.
Sonny Turner’s Platters are scheduled to travel to Japan in late August. We are also scheduled to be in Flint Michigan on August 19th, where we will be backed by the Flint Symphony Orchestra.

Saturday – February 12th - KLUC Love Affair Concert
Las Vegas— Celebrated rhythm and blues, soul and funk acts from the 60s, 70s and 80s, will perform the hits as part of the 6th Annual 98.5 KLUC Love Affair at the Orleans Arena on Saturday, February 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Deniece Williams began her career in music as a back up singer to Stevie Wonder, but quickly stepped into her own spotlight to become a multiple Grammy Award® winner and chart-topping singer. Williams is known for hits such as “Let’s Hear It For The Boy” from the Footloose soundtrack, “It’s Gonna Take A Miracle,” “Silly” and “Free,” along with several duets with Johnny Mathis, including the No. 1 smash, “Too Much, Too Little, Too Late.”
Singer Barbara Lewis wrote and recorded the hit song “Hello Stranger” in 1963, followed up with many more hits into the 60s, including “Baby I’m Yours,” “Make Me Your Baby” and “Make Me Belong To You.”

I had the honor of performing with Lesley Gore as part of the Legendary Ladies of Rock and Roll at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. (July 24th and 25th at 8PM.) Lesley’s hits include “It’s My Party,” Judy’s Turn to Cry,” and “You Don’t Own Me,” as well as the popular song “Out Here on My Own” from the 80′s hit movie “Fame.”
